What drew you to work for MetzWood Insurance initially?
I was first drawn to MetzWood because the employee benefits package is amazing. In addition, I had heard about how family-oriented and flexible the company is with employee needs, which was also highly desirable for me.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone shopping for different insurance policies?
There are so many things to consider when choosing an insurance plan. Coming into MetzWood I was very driven by price as most consumers are. However, now that I am working in insurance, I realize there are so many other factors to consider and the most important thing to focus on is being sure you are properly protected.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I would love to travel to any of the Caribbean Islands or any tropical island, really. My idea of a vacation usually always involves a beach, but I have not been to any outside of the US so I would love to experience that.
Tell us something you’re passionate about.
I am passionate about my daughter, Olivia. She is my world and nothing can top that for me!
What causes or charities are important to you?
St. Jude and Make-A-Wish are two charities that are important to me. When you are a little kid, life is supposed to be the easiest it will ever be. There are babies and kids going through illnesses that would be hard for any adult to withstand physically and emotionally, let alone just being at the beginning of your life. Both of these charities help sick children and their families going through these hard times, and they need and deserve all the help they can get.
What do you like most about the area you live?
I think the thing I like the most is that it's a small community that for the most part gathers together to help each other out in times of need.
What's something surprising your clients might not know about you?
I was born in Texas which usually surprises most people to learn. We moved before I was 3 so I don't remember anything about living there, but would like to go back and see where I lived one day.
