Responsibilities
- Sales Generation: Actively prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and online platforms, to identify potential clients and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Consultative Selling: Understand clients' insurance needs and provide expert guidance on suitable coverage options, policies, and packages tailored to their requirements, ensuring comprehensive risk protection.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service, promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing post-sales support to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, insurance products, policy terms, coverage options, and regulatory requirements to effectively educate clients and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Sales Targets: Set ambitious sales goals and work proactively to achieve or exceed them, consistently monitoring performance metrics, such as sales revenue, conversion rates, and policy renewals.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential target segments, develop effective sales strategies, and identify new business opportunities.
- Administrative Tasks: Accurately maintain client records, policy documentation, and sales reports, utilizing CRM systems and other tools to ensure proper documentation and efficient follow-up.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including underwriters, claims processors, and customer support, to provide seamless customer experiences and expedite policy issuance and claims processes.
- Professional Development: Continuously enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry expertise through training programs, workshops, and self-study to stay ahead in a competitive marketplace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred).
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport, establish trust, and negotiate effectively with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to understand clients' needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation, as well as thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track progress, and generate reports.
- Prior experience in the insurance industry, particularly in sales or customer service, is a plus.
