Commercial Lines Service Advisor
The Commercial Lines Service Advisor is at the core of MetzWood's success. As the Commercial Lines Service Advisor, you'll be responsible for creating a positive experience for our MetzWood clients and their businesses, from customer onboarding to annual reviews, and everything in between.
This full-time position will be primarily based in Chatham, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
In this role, you will:
- Advise and provide high quality service to commercial insurance clients
- Communicate with clients over phone, email, and in person
- Identify client needs and proactively recommend additional products and coverages when appropriate
- Properly prepare quotes and present to the client
- Report claims on behalf of clients and offer guidance throughout the process
- Follow all necessary agency procedures and maintain high underwriting standards to best serve our clients
- Work collaboratively as a part of a team to fulfill the needs of our clients
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service, interacting with customers over email, phone, and/or in person
- Ability to learn quickly, from understanding agency processes and procedures to adeptly utilizing our Agency Management Software system (Applied Epic)
- Eagerness to work in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience working in the Insurance industry is a bonus, but not required
- Currently hold a Property & Casualty License
