What drew you to work for MetzWood Insurance initially?
I worked for Liberty Mutual being trained for a manager position. They decided to let go of all middle management, and I realized that there was no job security with a large company and that I was just a number. That’s when I decided to leap to the agency side.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone shopping for different insurance policies?
It is not always about price, it is about covering your assets and having a representative who you know you can trust to be there for you.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Bora Bora! I want to rent one of those tiki hut rooms in the water, so when I wake up I can sip my coffee while looking at the beautiful blue water, watching the sunrise, and soaking in the peace. Oh and drinks with little umbrellas in them:)
Tell us something you’re passionate about.
Yoga and energy work! There’s nothing more rewarding than helping a client with aches and pains or when they leave feeling better and lighter.
What causes or charities are important to you?
I’m passionate about causes that help victims of domestic abuse. Women and children need a place to escape. Some of them do not have family or friends that can help.
What do you like most about the area you live?
I love that my community is quiet and the location is close to my son.

I like to laugh and have fun. Life is too short not to!
