What drew you to work for MetzWood Insurance initially?
I liked that MetzWood has so much community involvement and makes a point to volunteer and give back to the community.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone shopping for different insurance policies?
My best piece of advice would be to look for an agency that you can build a relationship with. It's important to have trust in your agent and know that they are looking out for your best interest and understand your insurance needs.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
At this time, the islands of Fiji sound particularly appealing. I enjoy snorkeling in the ocean, so the clear blue water and warm weather attract my attention. I would also enjoy learning about the native culture of this region.
Tell us something you’re passionate about.
I am passionate about my indoor plants. Taking care of my 120+ house plants is my way of stepping back from the hustle and bustle of life and helps me destress.
What causes or charities are important to you?
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has made a difference in the lives of children and families for many years. Childhood cancer is something that I would never want to see any child or family have to go through. I would love to see a cure for childhood cancer.
What do you like most about the area you live?
I enjoy living in this secluded country area. I enjoy being outdoors, and we have many great places to hike, swim, and explore. No matter the season, you can find something to do outside.
What's something surprising your clients might not know about you?
I have a fear of heights. So, I went skydiving to try to get past that fear, and it did not work.
